Ukulele Lessons
Welcome to the tropical sounds of the Hawaiian islands! Ukulele is a four stringed instrument also closely related to the guitar. Whereas bass relates to the lower 4 strings of guitar, ukulele relates to the top four strings of guitar. At Guitar Lesson Pros, we often recommend starting with ukulele for students under the age of 6 because it can be much easier for small hands.
The goal in lessons is always to make music first and foremost. Therefore, it is important to introduce techniques and concepts in a way that students can quickly hear musical results. For younger students, this can be a real challenge on guitar, but with ukulele, students can be strumming along to some popular songs in no time. These skills can then carry over into the world of guitar as they get a little older.
