ABOUT
Over the past 30 years, JP Ruggieri has dedicated his life to guitar and songwriting. He has over 20 years of teaching experience and is well versed in a broad range of genres. JP graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2008 and since then, has studied with some of the best players in the world, including Julian Lage, Adam Levy (Norah Jones, Amos Lee), Rich Hinman (Sara Bareilles), and Tomo Fujita (John Mayer).
As a songwriter, JP has released two full length albums and is currently working on his third. In support of these records, he toured extensively around the US and Europe. In addition to his solo work, JP has worked with producers like James Brown (Nine Inch Nails, Foo Fighters), Charlie Hunter (John Mayer), Oliver Wood and Jano Rix of The Wood Brothers, and Viktor Krauss (Robert Plant, Llye Lovett) to name a few. He even played on NYC's broadway for the Tony Award winning show "Oklahoma!".
